Very addictive though.

Flixster movie trailers.

Google voice search look up any thing without typing.

BA flights if you work the port.

National rail if you don't.

ATM hunter find the nearest cash machine

Sky plus set your sky plus box while your out working, never miss a program.

Audio books 1847 free audio books for when you don't want any more music.

shazam whats that tune playing, looks it up and gives a link on itunes great app.

Thats just a few and there are thousands more, mostly free, some you will pay 59p for and some are a bit more expensive.

You can now get Tom Tom on the iPhone but it is £60, still half the price you would pay for this in a stand alone format. Best of all the punters don't know you have it so you wont get any stick about using a sat nav.

Bought the 32 gb iPhone

Well I finally got an iPhone OS 3g and I must say its fantastic.
I can read and send Emails (any ISP) Tweets, SmS ,picture messages and surf the net (the real Internet that is not a cut down version). Oh and I nearly forgot, I can actually make phone calls as well.
I have been busy downloading all the free aps and a couple of payed for ones as well. So far the most useful has been Twitterific, it does everything you could want for twitter fans.
Mind you the Tweetdeck application for the PC and Twitter fox for my laptop are invaluable but not that brilliant on the phone.
I will expand this post as I discover more interesting aps and facts about this marvelous piece of technology.

Global launch of iPhone's OS 3.0 today.

Twitterer believes he has worked out global launch time (approximately)
So today's the day that the world gets to try out Apple's updated operating system, before the iPhone 3G S goes on sale on Friday. However, there's still no official word at what time this update will be available to download. Twitterer Richard Lai has been busy surfing the net checking Apple's websites around the world and believes that the OS 3.0 update will be available in the UK between 5 and 7.30pm this evening coinciding with a global launch. This is due to the fact that Apple India says the update will be available today, while Singapore says the 18th, leaving our mathematical friend Richard to tally up the various time zones before proposing his UK guestimate.

The iPhone OS 3.0 update means current iPhone 3G users will be able to record video for the first time, cut, copy and paste text, enjoy a horizontal virtual QWERTY keyboard experience and pair up to wireless headsets with onboard A2DP Stereo Bluetooth.
We'll be bringing you are own thoughts on the iPhone OS 3.0 operating system soon, but in the mean time, we'll be glued to our PC to see if Richard Lai's prediction is accurate.
